Acrobat Shiraz

2009 / 2008 / 2007 / 2006

Vintage
The 2009 shiraz grapes were fermented on skins for 7 days at 26 degrees centigrade with gentle pump overs. Drained and pressed to tank for MLF and racked for maturation with French and American oak for 12 months prior to blending.

Winemaking
The 2008 shiraz grapes were harvested in the cool of the morning to maximise fruit quality. Separate batches were fermented to obtain distinct and accurate flavour profiles from within our vineyards. After pressing, the wine was stored in 2 and 3 year old American oak barriques for 12 months prior to bottling.

Colour
Dense garnet in colour with reddish purple hues.

Bouquet Lifted
Deep red with cherry hues.

Palate
Sweet berry flavours enhanced by the savoury peppery spice character with a touch of cardamom.

Suggested Food
Favourite grilled steak.

Cellaring
An outstanding wine made to drink young and fresh and will reward with careful cellaring in the medium term.
