Cellar Door
Our state of the art winery is the one of the first wineries you come to as you approach Mudgee from Sydney, and is located at 1220 Sydney Road. You can visit our splendid cellar door and winery between 10am and 5pm Monday to Saturday and 10am to 4pm Sunday and Public Holidays.
Vineyard
It has a capacity of 5000 tonnes, and is one of the largest independently owned wineries in the Mudgee Region. The winery is surrounded by 25 hectares of premium varieties, which include Shiraz, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese, Zinfandel & Petit Verdot.
Location
The property is situated on the northern and southern sides of Sydney Road at Apple Tree Flat approximately 15 kilometres south east of Mudgee and 260km north‐west of Sydney. The property is located within the boundaries of the Mudgee GI.
Situated on the western slopes of the Great Dividing Range, Mudgee has spring frosts and cold nights, low rainfall and low humidity. Summer and autumn days are very warm.
Mudgee's has an average rainfall of 68mm falls within the growing season and an average temperature in January of 23.2°C
Soils generally comprise a topsoil of light clay or light medium clap which in turn overlies subsoils consisting of weathered and unweathered shale and siltstones. The depth of the topsoil ranges from 15‐150cm.
